I just can’t seem
to focus…
having a hard time
trying to think;
victimized by
a brain fog,
growing more
thick as I drink.
Thought the brandy
might help me…
hoped it might
burn off the haze;
paralyzed by
a stupor,
just staring
as iguanas graze.
No sense trying
to write now…
nothing’s making
any sense at all;
hypnotized by
big lizards,
trying grass
'n getting small.
